Sermon Title: A God for All Seasons

(Isaiah 43:16-21, Psalm 126:1-6, Philippians 3:4-14, John 12:1-8)

Rev. Erik Kindem, March 17, 2013

Quick Summary:

Some of us live our lives oriented toward the past. We consider that the most important elements of our biography come from that direction, and, for various reasons, it’s there that our gazed remains fixed.

Some of us live our lives oriented toward the present. When we awake each day our goal is to do our best to live in the moment.

Some of us live our lives with our face toward the future. The people and places we have yet to see, the things we have yet to accomplish give us purpose and direction.

In our texts today past/present/future realities co-mingle and coexist.
