Enjoy “breads of the world” as you learn about current Congressional legislation affecting hunger programs. This year Bread for the World’s theme is “Doing Our Part to End Hunger.” Bread for the World is asking Congress (through us) to pass budget and appropriations bills that put us on track to end hunger by 2030. Vital policies and safety-net programs—including WIC, global nutrition, SNAP, and refundable tax credits – must be funded and protected. Wanted: your Presence, your Voice, and your Breads of all kinds: lefse, rolls, rye, naan, injera – homemade or purchased – bring to the table Oct. 15, 9:15 a.m. – during our cross generational Education Hour.
