Sermon Title: Mary Said YES

(Luke 1:26-55)

Rev. Erik Kindem, December 18, 2011

Quick Summary:

When the angel Gabriel visits Mary, she doesn't know what to make of it. After delivering his message he waits for her response. This silence. . . . these moments before she answers him, are some of the most powerful moments in all of Scripture. In this silence, as Gabriel waits, we catch a glimpse of the incredible risk God is willing to take; to put his whole plan, the entire story line of his promise of the ages, into the hands and the mind of one young teenaged girl.
