Sermon Title: "Not by bread alone"

(Genesis 2:15-17, Genesis 3:1-7, Matthew 4:1-11)

Rev. Martha Myers, March 9, 2014

Quick Summary:

Evil comes to us in many disguises because it has nothing to give; all its promises are based on lies. Jesus rejects the lies that would divert him from his mission and destroy his relationship with God. Lent invites us to clear time in our lives so that we can discern what comes between us and God and make use of the resources God provides.
