Sermon Title: Bread at Kilometer Zero

(Isaiah 55:1-5, Matthew 14:13-21)

Rev. Erik Kindem, August 3, 2014

Quick Summary:

Pastor Kindem returns this week from sabbatical and shares a story about a woman giving away baguettes outside Notre Dame in Paris.

Our vocation as a community in Christ is to be like that young woman outside Notre Dame—giving away bread to anyone and everyone, without money and without price.

JESUS IS THE BREAD and when we take him into ourselves we become—through the miracle of God’s abundance—we become what we have received—we become bread for the world.
