Sermon Title: Sharing Enough

(Philippians 4:12-13, Luke 5:1-7)

Rev. Erik Kindem, March 6, 2011

Quick Summary:

A personal disappointment early in a college career leads to a profound learning opportunity about what it means to have "enough."
St. Paul's mantra is a necessary antidote to a culture that defines us primarily as "consumers."

When Jesus is Lord of our lives we participate in a new reality—of stretching out our hands, not so that we can grasp even more for ourselves to assuage our perceived lack, but so that out of the abundance that God provides, we can share what we have with others.
